Sanjay Shirsat’s big statement on Operation Tiger: Many MPs-MLAs of Thackeray group are in touch with Shinde group, said- Eknath Shinde will take the decision.

Amid speculations that some MPs and MLAs of the Thackeray faction are in touch with the Shinde faction, the state social justice minister and senior leaders of the Shinde faction Sanjay Shirsat Has given a big statement.

Speaking to the media, Sanjay Shirsat said that the Shinde group is not running any kind of ‘Operation Tiger’, but the doors are open for those who want to join them. He indicated that many leaders are in touch with him and the political equation may change in the future.

“Eknath Shinde will decide when Operation Tiger will happen”

Sanjay Shirsat said that at present he has no specific political sabotage plans, but a decision will be taken according to the circumstances.

He said, “We are not running any Operation Tiger, but we will not refuse those who want to join us. If ever Operation Tiger has to be done, it will be decided by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. We have many people in touch and the current political equation may change in the coming few months.”

After this statement of Shirsat, discussions have intensified regarding the possibilities of new political developments in Maharashtra politics.

Shirsat also spoke on the necessity of Marathi language

Sanjay Shirsat also responded to the issue of making Marathi language mandatory for auto and taxi drivers in Mumbai. He said that Marathi language should be respected in Maharashtra and those working in the state should learn Marathi.

He said, “The language is spoken in every state of the country, then why not Marathi in Mumbai? If people are not ready to learn Marathi even after being given enough time, then it will be considered as stubbornness and action will also be taken in such a situation.”

Rohit Pawar’s movement targeted

Commenting on the agitation started by Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Rohit Pawar, Shirsat said that he has no problem with anyone’s agitation, but some leaders do agitation only with the aim of taking political advantage.

He said, “There is no reason to oppose Rohit Pawar’s movement, but it seems he is trying to make political gains on this issue. It is the responsibility of the police to maintain law and order and they should take necessary action.”

FDA’s action welcomed

Welcoming the campaign being run by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Shirsat said that action against adulteration and illegal activities should be continued.

He said that the government will give full protection to such officers who are working honestly. He also raised the question as to why the concerned departments and officers were inactive till now.

Shirsat said, “This campaign is commendable. The officers who are taking action will get full support from the government. This action should not be stopped under any circumstances.”
