(Health Corner) :- Nowadays the use of bread has increased from morning breakfast to afternoon snacks. Quick-to-prepare sandwiches, bread-jam or bread-butter have now become a part of our diet. Even sick people are being given bread instead of porridge or khichdi, whereas bread made from refined flour can cause many serious health problems.

Excessive consumption of bread can lead to constipation, which can further lead to a hole in the stomach (peptic ulcer). Additionally, bread contains high amounts of sodium, which increases blood pressure and the risk of heart diseases. Eating too much bread leads to accumulation of salt in the body, which increases the risk of various diseases.
