Big success for Delhi Police: Two shooters of Tillu gang arrested, big conspiracy of gang war foiled
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested two shooters of the notorious Tillu Tajpuria gang, foiling a major conspiracy of possible gang war in Outer Delhi. The accused have been identified as Vishal Pandit and Dipanshu. Both are residents of Holambi Khurd area.
Preparations were made to attack Gogi gang
According to the police, both the accused were planning to target Gogi gang members to avenge the murder of Tillu Tajpuria in Tihar Jail. They were recceing the hideouts of rival gangs and gathering information about them. A possible gang war was averted due to timely arrest.
Weapons and car recovered
Special Commissioner (Crime) Har Govind Singh Dhaliwal said that two sophisticated semi-automatic pistols, six cartridges and a car used in the crime have been recovered from the possession of the accused. During interrogation, the accused revealed that they were provided weapons by an absconding handler of the gang. The weapons were tested by aerial firing in the village fields.
Vishal’s long criminal record
The police team led by DCP Harsh Indora arrested both of them on the basis of secret information. Investigation revealed that Vishal Pandit has been associated with Tillu gang for many years. His brother Yudhveer alias Kalu Pandit is also a notorious criminal and is currently in jail. Six serious cases are registered against Vishal including attempt to murder, extortion and firing on police.
Deepanshu also accused in many cases
Deepanshu, a B.Com graduate, has been active in the world of crime since the year 2020. After his release from jail in November 2024, he again came in contact with the gang. Three cases of attempt to murder and Arms Act are registered against him. The police are now searching for the supply of weapons and other people involved in the conspiracy.
