‘Peace deal’ reached between America and Iran, now Hormuz will be open forever

America Iran Deal: A big news has come to light amid the long-running tension between America and Iran. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has claimed that a peace agreement has been reached between the two countries after intensive negotiations. According to him, America and Iran have agreed to immediately and permanently end military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon. Later US President Donald Trump also confirmed this agreement.

Shahbaz Sharif gave information about this agreement through a post on social media platform X on Sunday. He called it a major diplomatic success after several weeks of regional tension. According to the information, this agreement is likely to be formally signed in Switzerland on June 19.

What did Donald Trump say?

Shortly after Sharif’s statement, US President Donald Trump also confirmed that talks with Iran had been successfully completed. Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social, “The agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all.”

Will Hormuz open?

Trump also claimed that with this agreement the Strait of Hormuz will remain toll-free forever. He said that his policy averted a situation that could have proved very serious and disastrous for Israel. Trump defended the agreement despite the objections of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump also said in an interview with The New York Times on Sunday that if Iran does not reach a final nuclear deal with the US, he may consider resuming military strikes against Tehran. He also said that under a comprehensive arrangement, the US could play the role of “patron” of the Middle East and in return receive 20 percent of the region’s income.

When will the signing ceremony take place?

The proposed signing ceremony on June 19 is being considered an important milestone in reducing tensions between America and Iran. However, experts believe that the real success of the agreement will depend on its adherence and cooperation from all parties.

Shahbaz Sharif said in his statement that this agreement is the result of a long diplomatic process with the participation of many countries and mediators. He said that both Washington and Tehran have agreed to immediately and permanently stop military activities, which could pave the way for reducing tensions across the Middle East.

He thanked both America and Iran and said that both the countries chose the path of diplomacy instead of confrontation. Sharif expressed hope that this agreement will help in restoring stability in the region.

Which countries played an important role?

The Pakistani Prime Minister also mentioned the role of many countries in making this agreement possible. He praised Qatar and said that it played a leadership role in the mediation process. Apart from this, he also praised the contribution of Saudi Arabia and Turkey. According to Sharif, the joint efforts of these countries played an important role in reducing differences between the two sides and making the talks successful.

Sharif said that several meetings will be organized in the coming days before signing the agreement. In these meetings, technical arrangements, monitoring mechanisms and other operational aspects related to the implementation of the agreement will be discussed. Diplomatic teams of the involved countries will also participate in it.

What did Trump say to Iran?

Meanwhile, Trump also made an important announcement regarding maritime activities in the Gulf region. He said he has ordered the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to commercial ships and the immediate lifting of the US naval blockade. Trump said in his statement, “Ships of the world, start your engines. Let the oil flow again.” His statement is being seen as a signal to restore normal maritime activities in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important energy routes.

The Strait of Hormuz is considered a very important sea route for global oil and gas supply. Therefore, any decision related to shipping here can have an impact on international energy markets and global trade.

What does Iran have to say?

On the other hand, Iran’s National Security Council has said that under the new agreement with America, the maritime blockade imposed on the country will be ended immediately and completely. The council said that the draft of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries has been finalized.

Iran said that from tonight itself, all wars and military operations on various fronts including Lebanon will be stopped immediately and permanently. The council also said that the memorandum of understanding would be formally signed on June 19 and negotiations would then begin on a comprehensive final agreement, provided the other side implements its commitments.

When will the Strait of Hormuz open?

At the same time, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, quoting a source, has claimed that the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened on Friday after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between America and Iran. According to the report, this step can prove important in reducing the barriers to global energy trade and restoring the movement of commercial ships.
