Due to the effect of western disturbance and cyclonic circulation, the weather remains active in the eastern parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert indicating the possibility of strong storm and rain in many districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, the western disturbance has now moved towards eastern Uttar Pradesh, due to which rain and strong winds may continue in some areas. On the other hand, the temperature is likely to increase in western UP as the weather clears up.
Possibility of thunderstorm and rain in 26 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding bad weather in many districts of Eastern UP. There is a possibility of rain and lightning along with strong winds in these areas. The effect of storm and rain can be seen in the surrounding areas of UP including Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Mau and Ballia.

According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, the wind speed in some areas can reach 70 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of rain and lightning along with strong winds. People have been advised to avoid open spaces, near trees and electric poles during bad weather.

The Meteorological Department has also predicted thunderstorms in Chandauli, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur and surrounding areas of Uttar Pradesh.
Relief from heat was provided by rain
In recent days, a drop in temperature was recorded in many parts of the state due to storm and rain. Lower than normal temperatures were recorded in many districts, giving people respite from the heat. Now people have been advised to remain alert amid the change in weather again.
