1. CM Rekha Gupta took charge of cleaning Yamuna.

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta has launched a mega campaign to clean the Yamuna river before the rains. Yamuna cleanliness campaign has been named ‘Yamuna Safai Yagya – Clean Yamuna is my duty’. Under this campaign, today i.e. on 14th June, all the ministers from Rekha Gupta Cabinet, all the MPs of Delhi and more than 500 NGOs participated in the campaign to clean the coast.

2. Central government takes possession of Jaipur Polo Ground in Delhi.

The Central Government has taken over the Jaipur Polo Ground of Delhi. Taking major action, the Land and Development Office (L&DO) of the Central Government has sealed the premises. Officials reached the spot and sealed the main entrance and also pasted a notice. The Central Government has taken this action after a Delhi court gave a blow to the Indian Polo Association (IPA). The court has refused to grant interim protection to the Indian Polo Association against the Central Government’s order asking them to vacate the grounds.

3. Big revelation in Delhi Tughlakabad Extension fire incident

A big revelation has come to light in the Delhi Tughlakabad Extension fire incident. Actually this was not an accident but a well-planned conspiracy. The whole game was played regarding money transactions. According to South Delhi Police, all the four accused including the minor girl have been taken into custody. Police say that the investigation of the case is still going on and other aspects of the conspiracy are also being investigated.

Fire breaks out in hotel near Kalkaji-Govindpuri flyover: The fire incident is not stopping in the country’s national capital Delhi. After the Malviya Nagar Hotel fire and Tughlakabad fire, Delhi was once again shaken by a massive fire on Sunday (14 June 2026) morning. Today i.e. Sunday (June 14) morning, a massive fire broke out in the Punjabi Tadka Restaurant located near Kalkaji-Govindpuri flyover in Delhi. After the fire in the hotel, three LPG cylinders burst due to the strong blast. It felt as if a bomb had exploded. After receiving information about the fire, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. It is fortunate that no one died in the accident.
