Egg Attack On TMC Leader Soumitra Banerjee: People pelted eggs at Trinamool Congress leader Soumitra Banerjee, raised slogans of thief, thief, police saved her with great difficulty.

New Delhi. People’s anger is continuously rising against the leaders of Trinamool Congress. Incidents of eggs being thrown at TMC leaders have become common. In this sequence, today another TMC leader Soumitra Banerjee had to become a victim of people’s anger. While Soumitra Banerjee was being taken to the court by the police, people started pelting eggs at him. The police controlled the situation with great difficulty and took Soumitra Banerjee safely to the court. Soumitra Banerjee has been arrested on the basis of the complaint of BJP leader Ravi Keshari. He is accused of attacking BJP workers.

The police was taking Soumitra Banerjee to appear in the court. As soon as he was brought outside the Raniganj police station, some people already present there started pelting eggs at the TMC leader. Not only this, they were also raising slogans of chor-chor. The police somehow made Soumitra sit in the jeep and then left from there with him. In the FIR lodged against Soumitra by the BJP leader, it has been alleged that in the year 2024, BJP workers protesting against the incident at RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata were attacked by Trinamool supporters in which many BJP people were injured. Soumitra Banerjee’s name is among the main accused in this case.

Earlier on Monday, some people also threw eggs at TMC MLA and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh. Kunal Ghosh was talking to journalists outside the house of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee when eggs were thrown at him. Ghosh had complained about this to the police and the police have also arrested two people in this case.
