Cocktail 2 gets A certificate, Shahid, Kriti and Rashmika’s film will be released on June 19

Cocktail 2: Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon starrer film ‘Cocktail 2’ continues to be in the headlines. Now only one day is left for the release of the film and it is going to hit the theaters on June 19. The Censor Board (CBFC) has approved the film, after which it has been decided that it will be released with ‘A’ certificate.

Asked to remove objectionable words

According to reports, the Censor Board has not cut any scene of the film, that is, all the romantic and intimate scenes have been kept as before. However, there are instructions for some audio changes. Apart from this, some objectionable words used in the subtitles have been asked to be removed and one word ‘Agni’ has been changed to ‘Diya’.

The duration of the film is said to be around 149.19 minutes i.e. approximately 2 hours 29 minutes 19 seconds. As per the censor certificate, a dialogue ‘Jew on the Run’ has also been approved, although details regarding its context have not been shared.

This will be the first ‘A’ rated film in his career.

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in lead roles in ‘Cocktail 2’. This is Shahid Kapoor’s fifth ‘A’ certified film, while this will be the first ‘A’ rated film in Kriti Sanon’s career. Rashmika Mandanna has earlier also been a part of ‘A’ certificate films like ‘Animal’.

Considered the turning point of career

The film is directed by Homi Adajania. Earlier, he had also directed the 2012 film ‘Cocktail’, in which Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty were in the lead roles. Deepika’s character ‘Veronica’ in that film is considered the turning point of her career.
