District officer reached Naurangia Don to review development plans

District Officer Taranjot Singh visited the remote Naurangia Doon area and took stock of the ground situation of the development schemes and established dialogue with local public representatives, social workers and villagers. In the meeting held at Panchayat Government Building, villagers raised problems related to roads, bridges, electricity, health facilities and internet connectivity.

The District Officer directed to ensure regular presence of CHO and deputation of ANM in the Primary Health Center to strengthen the health services. At the same time, the Rural Works Department was instructed to prepare proposals for the construction of necessary roads and bridges and the Electricity Department was instructed to speed up the process of providing on-grid electricity.

He said that the administration is committed to the overall development of Naurangiya Doan and time bound action will be ensured on all the issues raised by the villagers. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon, officers of various departments, public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
