People often prefer to travel by train for long distances as it is a cheap mode of travel and it provides a unique experience of enjoying the sights along the way. However, imagine leaving for the station with a confirmed ticket and then finding out that your train has been canceled for some reason – that can definitely add to your stress.

If you are planning to travel by train on June 19, please note that special repair work is being carried out to strengthen tracks and bridges on the Muzaffarnagar-Deoband rail section. As a result, many trains will be diverted to alternative routes, while others have been cancelled. Due to this “Mega Block”, the operation of trains on the ‘Down Line’ of Muzaffarnagar-Deoband section will remain changed from the morning of 19th June (yesterday) to the morning of 20th June.

Haridwar-Delhi
Haridwar-Bandra
Haridwar-LTT
Chandigarh-Madurai
Rishikesh-Sabarmati

A total of eight trains will be diverted to alternative routes; However, please note that timetables are subject to change due to route changes. Therefore, it is advisable to check the train status before going to the station.

**Which trains will be cancelled?**

It is worth noting that due to this mega block it has been decided to cancel some trains completely. These include Jalandhar-Delhi Express (14681/12018), New Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi Express (12017/12018), Ghaziabad-Meerut MEMU (64555/64556) and Saharanpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express (20411/20412).

Railways has advised passengers to check the latest status of their trains before leaving home. You can get information about it by calling the railway helpline number so that you do not have to face any inconvenience.
