6 MPs of Uddhav group did not reach the meeting, Sanjay Raut told- what will they do next

After Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and TMC in Bengal, now Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) in Maharashtra is again on the verge of disintegration. Only three Lok Sabha members of Shiv Sena (UBT) attended the parliamentary party meeting, while six kept their distance from the meeting. Shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said, ‘These traitors will have to pay the price of betrayal.’

Arvind Sawant and Chief Whip Anil Desai had called a meeting of MPs at the Shiv Sena (UBT) Parliament office in Delhi at 11 am on Thursday. Only Arvind Sawant, Rajbhau Waje and Anil Desai were present in it. The remaining six MPs did not participate in the meeting. Shiv Sena (UBT) has a total of 9 MPs in the Lok Sabha. The participation of MPs who did not attend the meeting is almost two-thirds.

On the other hand, Sanjay Raut expressed his displeasure over the absence of MPs. He said that this is a violation of the whip and party orders. The process of action has been started. Show cause notice will be issued against everyone.

Show cause notice will be sent

Sanjay Raut said, ‘Three Lok Sabha MPs Arvind Sawant, Rajabhau Waje and Anil Desai attended the meeting. I am from Rajya Sabha. The MPs who did not attend the meeting have violated the party whip. Action has been initiated against him. Show cause notice will be sent to them and reply will be sought. We will consider canceling his membership.

Raut further questioned that when we met the Speaker yesterday, a photo was released. If the remaining 6 MPs have met the Lok Sabha Speaker, then show his photograph. This is not called strategy, but cheating. He is still a member of our party and lives on our election symbol. If he has violated the party whip, he will have to face legal action. BJP has made the politics of the country dirty. They will have to pay the price for this.

Sanjay Raut said, ‘You can see on TV, people have taken to the streets in the areas of these people. This time Eknath Shinde and these traitors will have to pay a heavy price for this betrayal. BJP will also have to pay the price for dirtying politics. Arvind Sawant is preparing documents for the disqualification letter.

Will have to answer within seven days

MP Arvind Sawant said, ‘The MPs who did not attend the meeting have betrayed the party. We are going to issue them a show cause notice. They will get the notice by evening. If they do not respond within 7 days of receiving the notice, further action will be taken. We will also write letters to the Speaker and MPs.

What is Operation Tiger?

In 2022, Eknath Shinde had torn Shiv Sena into two by defecting to a large number of MLAs. Now after four years, the Uddhav faction is facing the possibility of another split. These days there is talk of ‘Operation Tiger’ in the politics of Maharashtra. According to reports, seven MPs of Uddhav group are in touch with Eknath Shinde group. More than two-thirds of the MPs are considering switching sides.
