Barmer Murder Case: A sensational murder case has come to light in Barmer district of Rajasthan. Police investigation revealed that a woman along with her lover allegedly conspired to murder her husband. The police have arrested both the accused in connection with the incident.

According to the police, on June 4, the body of a person was recovered from a water tank in a field. After preliminary investigation, a case of murder was registered and the investigation was taken forward on the basis of technical evidence and interrogation.

Investigation revealed that the deceased’s wife and a taxi driver had been in a relationship for a long time. Police allege that both of them together planned to remove the husband from the way. Reportedly, the woman switched off her mobile after saying she wanted to leave the house, after which the husband went in search of her.

It is alleged that a taxi driver known to the woman met her on the way and took her away. According to the police, the accused first made the deceased drink alcohol and then took him to a deserted area and threw him in a pond. After the incident the accused fled from the spot.

During the investigation of the case, the police interrogated both the suspects on the basis of mobile records, technical evidence and other clues. After this both were arrested and presented in the court.

Police engaged in investigation of the case

Police say that the woman has been sent to judicial custody, while police remand has been taken from the second accused for questioning. A detailed investigation of the case is underway and the police are investigating all aspects.
