New Delhi: A major incident of fire has come to light from Shahdara area of ​​the national capital Delhi. A massive fire broke out in a house in street number 7, Bihari Colony of Shahdara, creating chaos in the area. As soon as information about the incident was received, the fire department and other rescue agencies reached the spot and relief and rescue operations were started.

According to Delhi Fire Service (DFS), immediate action was taken after receiving information about fire in a house in Bihari Colony. Six fire brigade vehicles were sent to the spot to control the fire. Firefighters are continuously working to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby houses.

Rescue operation continues

After the fire, work is also being done to evacuate the people living in the area to safe places. The rescue team is searching for people trapped in and around the house. At present the cause of the fire has not been known. Officials say that the situation is being constantly monitored.

Incidents of fire are increasing in the summer season

There has been an increase in the incidents of fire amid the scorching heat in Delhi for the last few days. Recently a fire broke out in a wood shop in Mangolpuri area. After receiving the information, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control. There was no news of any casualty in that incident.

Tughlakabad incident increased concern

Earlier, a fire in a residential building in Tughlakabad Extension of south-east Delhi had killed three people. Investigation revealed that it was not an accident but a case of deliberately set fire. The police had detained several people including a minor in this case.

After the latest incident in Shahdara, the administration and fire department are fully alert. Officials have appealed to the people to immediately inform the concerned department in case of any emergency related to fire and follow the safety rules.
