Cady, from Oldham, Manchester, says: ‘I have never met anyone with this condition and it can be a lonely experience.’ I want to be there for other children, so that they know they are not alone. Knowing the truth has finally brought my mother and I closer to each other. ‘People say how alike we are – but they have no idea how much we have in common.’

Father himself raped his daughter

Cady’s mother Stacey Dawn (37) was physically and mentally abused by her father Nigel Taylor. He spent most of his childhood in foster care and faced neglect and cruelty even during the short time he spent with his father.

At the age of 17, she went to stay with her father Nigel Taylor for Christmas because she had nowhere else to go. They took away his bank card and phone and did not allow him to leave the place for the next six months. Even now Cady Dawn remembers well that shocking moment when her mother told her that she had become pregnant by her own father and Cady was the child born from that pregnancy.

Got the answer to who is the father in 5 years

In April 2007, just before her 18th birthday, Nigel Taylor forcibly had sex with her and Stacey Dawn became pregnant. When information about this was received, despite father Nigel Taylor’s pressure to terminate the pregnancy, Stacey courageously continued the pregnancy and KD was born in February 2008. Stacey had no further contact with her father, but when KD was two and a half years old, she went to the police and lodged a complaint.

Subsequently, in April 2011, Basildon Crown Court sentenced Taylor to seven years in prison after admitting having sex with a child in the family. KD says mother is very good

Now KD Don says- ‘Mother is very good. When I was little, she decorated a princess-like bedroom for me. Mother used to make a lot of fun on Christmas and birthdays. I used to go to dance classes and acting classes. I never even questioned who my father was, so mother was enough. At the same time, by the age of 13, his curiosity started increasing. At the age of 13, KD asked, “So now are you my mother or my sister?”
