His popularity level is falling in Italy.

Meloni gave a befitting reply

Meloni hit back at Trump in his post and wrote that President Trump, these continuous and unprovoked attacks are meaningless. As far as my popularity goes, being your friend doesn’t help, nor does it depend on my relationship with you. My popularity depends on my ability to defend Italy’s national interests and that is what I have always done.

I did the same in the case of American military bases in Italy. We have always respected the agreements regarding their use, and they cannot be violated as long as I am Prime Minister. Italy is a sovereign country. Anyway, my popularity is not your concern. I suggest you pay attention to your popularity.

Trump claimed again
