Narayanpur, Jamtara, Jharkhand: Kamlesh Kumar Das took charge as the 39th Block Development Officer (BDO) of Narayanpur block on Friday. He took charge from outgoing in-charge BDO and circle officer Devraj Gupta.
It is noteworthy that after the transfer of former BDO Murli Yadav, Narayanpur Circle Officer Devraj Gupta was given additional charge of BDO. After about nine months, the block has got a regular BDO.
After assuming charge, BDO Kamlesh Kumar Das said that his priority would be to extend the benefits of government schemes to the last person. He said that by working as per the prescribed provisions, efforts will be made to make the benefits of the schemes easily available to the common people. Also, with the cooperation of officers and employees, the overall development of the block will be accelerated, so that no person is left behind in the race of development.
On this occasion, Circle Officer Devraj Gupta congratulated the new BDO and wished him a successful tenure.
Assistant Engineer Kumar Anurag, Junior Engineer Gautam Mandal, Advocate Marandi, Kailash Mandal, Rahul Sinha, Sushant Kumar, Uday Ojha, Naresh Soren and other officers and employees were present on the occasion.
