Saudi Arabia: Saudi Foreign Minister held a big meeting with America, Türkiye and Egypt, discussed Gaza and Libya crisis.

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held a high-level meeting in Cairo on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Senior officials of Egypt, Türkiye and America participated in this meeting. All the countries together talked about maintaining peace in the Middle East and Africa and solving the problems there.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and US President’s advisor Massad Boulos were present in this meeting. Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Tamim Khallaf said that many regional issues were discussed in depth in this meeting.

Discussion took place on these important issues

  • Iran case: The recent agreement (MoU) between America and Iran was discussed in the meeting. Officials said the move was necessary to reduce tension and bring stability to the region.
  • Libya and Sudan: Emphasis was placed on maintaining Libya’s unity and sovereignty. It was also agreed to make diplomatic efforts to resolve the ongoing humanitarian and political difficulties in Sudan.
  • Palestine and Gaza: The situation in Gaza Strip and Palestine was discussed in detail. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that a two-state solution is the only way for peace. He demanded increased international pressure on the Israeli government regarding the situation in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.
  • Africa’s security: Ways to enhance security and strengthen mutual cooperation in the African continent were also considered.

The Turkish Foreign Minister also described Pakistan’s mediation role as important for the peace agreement. He said that for a permanent peace agreement, all the countries will have to work in coordination with each other.
