UP Petrol Diesel Price 20 June: Due to tensions between America and Iran, there were concerns about supply due to which the prices of all types of fuels had increased. However, US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that he had personally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the US and Iran.
As tensions have eased, there has been a sharp decline in Brent crude prices, wiping out most of the price increase (war premium) caused by the conflict. Still, there was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on June 20. Fuel prices have been increased four times since the US-Iran tensions began, including an increase of about ₹2.6 and ₹2.7 per liter last month. Overall, prices have increased by ₹7.5–8 since the tension began.
