Under this movement, Aam Aadmi Party will register a unique protest to expose the dual character of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and RSS. The party leadership has announced that a demand draft (DD) of Rs 420 will be sent to Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and an appeal will be made to him to stop stealing donations from the temple of God.
Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh strongly attacked this strategy and the power of the Center and said, “Lord Shri Ram is the supreme symbol of faith and dignity of all of us. In the name of the construction of his grand temple, crores of devotees from India and abroad had dedicated their hard-earned money. But the people of RSS and BJP, who call themselves contractors of religion, their own officials are heavily misappropriating this sacred donation. This is being done to crores of Ram devotees. The most unfortunate thing is that this entire system is running under the patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi ji talks big on corruption, but when people associated with his own organization (RSS) and his close ones are found involved in donation theft, he maintains complete silence. He said that by sending a demand draft of Rs 420 to Champat Rai, we are giving a message that he should stop robbing the money of the Lord’s temple. If BJP, RSS or their people have this much shortage of money, then they should ask for it directly; Every worker of the Aam Aadmi Party will collect money by begging and distributing among the public, but this manipulation will not be allowed in the house of God.
Sanjay Singh further said that the purpose of our ‘Bhikshatan program’ is to go among the public and expose this donation stealing face of BJP and RSS. Every worker of Aam Aadmi Party will take to the streets tomorrow. Our demand is clear, until strict legal action is taken against these corrupt people and they do not give up their throne, our democratic struggle will continue. Aam Aadmi Party has issued instructions to all its district presidents, assembly in-charges and workers to gather at major intersections and district headquarters of their respective areas from early morning on 21st June and make this movement a success with full force.
