nutritious food in winter

During winter, the demand for coarse grains like millet, maize, and gram as well as laddu, desi ghee, turnip, beetroot, radish, sesame, mustard greens, fenugreek, and spinach increases. However, children often show reluctance towards these foods. This season is suitable for consuming foods with hot nature, which are easily digested in the body. Therefore, these ingredients can be incorporated into a variety of dishes.

Liquid diet- Cold beverages can irritate the throat in this season. Giving soup of tomato, beetroot, spinach or other mixed vegetables to children can be beneficial. Coconut water and tomato soup is also a good option.
