Now with the microsite listing of this device on Amazon India, its launch in India has also been confirmed. Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is now listed on Amazon India and the company has given information about the main specifications and features of this upcoming tablet through its microsite. This device has a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 octa-core processor and also includes AI features like Google Gemini, Circle to Search and Lenovo AI Live Transcript. It has 9 JBL speakers with 7.2 channel cinematic audio, Dolby Atmos support and JBL’s sound tuning. The speaker setup includes 4 tweeters, 3 woofers and 2 passive radiators. It has also received certification for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless. Apart from this, audio modes like Dynamic Mode, Movie Mode and Music Mode are also provided in the device. The special thing is that this tablet can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker and it can be controlled from a mobile device. Movie mode features ‘Dialogue Enhancer’ for clearer sound, while Music mode features a custom equalizer to adjust frequencies.
The upcoming tab features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, refresh rate 120Hz, peak brightness 800 nits, color gamut 98% DCI-P3, and pixel density 249 ppi. This display also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It also includes eye protection features like Eye-Safe Display, Low Blue Light, Color Accurate Display and TÜV Rhineland certification. This tablet has a 10200mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. According to the information received, it allows video streaming for up to 15 hours and YouTube Music playback for up to 52 hours. Additionally, Lenovo is also offering Android 17 and Android 18 upgrades as well as four years of security updates or security patch updates until 2030.
Talking about AI features, Lenovo AI Live Transcript features real-time captions and translation, so users can instantly understand what they are watching, overcome language barriers in real-time, and enjoy content without any interruptions. It also comes with Lenovo SmartConnect features like Share Hub for easy file sharing, Cross Control for easy navigation between devices, App Streaming for streaming Android apps to Windows PC, and Smart Clipboard for quick copy-paste between devices. The device also supports multiple stand and usage modes, including Stand Mode, Lean Mode, Hanging Mode, and Theater Mode. Talking about the design, its design is minimalistic, in which soft edges and light colors have been used. It also gets support from accessories like shoulder strap, custom-fit sleeve and stylus loop inside the cover.
Lenovo has not yet made any official announcement regarding its price and availability in the Indian market. However, its microsite has gone live on Amazon India, so it is expected that it will be launched soon.
