WTC Points Table 2025-27: New Zealand defeated England by a huge margin of 253 runs in the second Test match played at Kennington Oval. Chasing a target of 463, England were bowled out for 209 on day five and New Zealand leveled the series 1-1 with the win. New Zealand’s resounding victory also affected the rankings for the ‘World Test Championship’ (WTC) 2025-27; New Zealand improved their points percentage (PCT), while England suffered a loss.

Australia tops; New Zealand’s fourth position remains

Australia is currently dominating the top spot in the WTC 2025-27 rankings. The Australian team has played eight Test matches so far, including seven wins and one loss. Australia’s percentage points (PCT) is 87.50. South Africa is second with 75.00 PCT.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka and New Zealand are ranked third and fourth respectively. By defeating England, New Zealand recorded their third win in five matches in this WTC cycle. The win brought the Kiwi team’s PCT level with Sri Lanka; Now the scoring percentage of both the teams is 66.67. Bangladesh has also performed impressively this cycle, ranking fifth with 58.33 PCT.

Indian team ranked sixth; England hit

Pakistan and West Indies occupy the bottom two positions in the points table; Pakistan’s PCT is 8.33, while West Indies’ PCT is 4.17.
