Aprilia Tuono 457— Famous two-wheeler manufacturer Aprilia has launched the new 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition of its powerful performance bike Tuono 457 in the Indian auto market. Presented on the special occasion of ‘World Motorcycle Day’, this bike has been launched with many cosmetic changes and better rider comfort. The starting ex-showroom price of this special edition has been kept at ₹ 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

New look and attractive graphics inspired by the old model

The company has prepared this new special edition inspired by its famous and iconic bike Tuono 1000R of the year 2006. Two new attractive color options have been added to it, which include Mamba Black and Puma Grey. Apart from this, new MotoGP inspired graphics and visual treatments are seen on the bike, which give it a more sporty and aggressive look than the standard model.

Changes in riding position and ergonomics for a comfortable ride

The company has made the biggest update in this bike keeping in mind the convenience of the rider and everyday use (daily travel). It now has a taller handle bar, which allows the rider to sit upright and drive. This will reduce the problem of wrist and back pain while traveling long distances. Along with this, a new smoked flyscreen and adjustable front brake lever that can be set according to the size of the hands has also been added.

Suspension and seat upgraded

Keeping in mind the Indian road conditions, Aprilia has made important changes in the suspension setup of this motorcycle. Its front and rear suspension have been re-calibrated, with the initial stroke now softer than before. This change will help in absorbing potholes and bumps on the road easily. At the same time, high-resilience foam has been used in the bike seat, which reduces vibration and provides better support during long riding.

Powerful engine and powertrain

Mechanically, no changes have been made to this motorcycle. Like before, this bike comes with a 457cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which generates maximum power of 47.6 bhp and peak torque of 43.5 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Features like full-LED lighting, 5-inch color TFT instrument console and dual-channel ABS are available as standard in the bike.

Compared to the standard model, the price of this special edition has increased only marginally by ₹2,000. The company is giving a warranty of 4 years or 48,000 kilometers with this bike. Customers can pre-book it by visiting select Aprilia dealerships across the country. Additionally, accessories like quickshifter, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and USB charging socket can be purchased separately.
