‘The hero is not of reel, but of real life…’ CM Thalapati Vijay got angry at his opponents, made the biggest blast till now on the bumper victory of 2026

A very big news is coming out from the politics of Tamil Nadu at this time. State Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay (Thalapathy Vijay) has given a befitting reply to his opponents regarding the ideology of his party, the historic victory in the 2026 assembly elections and the thorny path of his political journey. Chief Minister Vijay vented out his anger on his political enemies without taking names. He made it clear in a blunt tone that no one should make the mistake of taking his party lightly, it is not just an ‘actor’s party’, but a strong and steely political force emanating from the hearts of the people.

Triveni of ideology: Vijay is a follower of Periyar, Ambedkar and Kamaraj.

Chief Minister Thalapathy Vijay, while making his party’s ideological stand completely clear, mentioned the principles of the three biggest heroes of the country and Tamil Nadu politics. He said very candidly, “It is true that we have not accepted the (atheistic) thinking of Periyar rejecting religious beliefs, but we wholeheartedly embrace his broader principles like social justice and women’s upliftment.” The Chief Minister further said that he is not the enemy of anyone’s personal ideology, rather he understands very well the difference between ideological and political opponents.

CM Vijay stressed that his party has made Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s noble ideals of ‘equal opportunity’ and ‘social justice’ its strongest base. Along with this, the party is moving ahead considering former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Kamaraj’s model of ‘honest and clean administration’ as its guiding principle.

2026 elections: When Vijay single-handedly destroyed the forts of his opponents.

Expressing pride in his election strategy and the excellent results of the 2026 assembly elections, CM Vijay explained how he reached this top position of power. Taking a dig at his opponents, he said that usually leaders first form a political party and then go to the public to seek votes, but his strategy was completely different. He first went among the public and built an unbreakable relationship at the grassroots level and only then announced the political party.

He said in a sharp tone, “Those who do not understand this depth and our grassroots connection, they childishly try to dismiss us by calling us just ‘an actor’s party’. In this great contest of the year 2026, we did not make any alliance with any party and contested the elections on our own.” The public appreciated his move, on the basis of which the party achieved a huge vote share of 35% and formed the government as a major independent political force by getting a total of 1.72 crore (17.2 million) votes.

The story of struggles and the pain of that tragic incident of Karur

The Chief Minister also appeared emotional while remembering his very short but full of challenges political journey of two and a half years. He said that some people try to make fun of his rapid rise and success, but to reach this point his party has faced terrible difficulties, government obstacles and deep conspiracies of its opponents.

During this time, he specifically mentioned the very tragic incident that took place in Karur, where 41 innocent people lost their lives in an accident. Expressing grief, CM Vijay said that false blame and fabricated allegations of that terrible incident were placed on his party for political gains. Strongly opposing this, the Chief Minister hit back and asked, “Has the level of politics fallen so low? Should politics be conducted by hatching dirty conspiracies like this?”

Government of ‘most common people’: Memories of Anna and MGR era fresh

Chief Minister Vijay gave a very strong and emotional message by comparing his present government with the golden reigns of two of the greatest legendary Chief Ministers in the history of Tamil Nadu. He said that the way former CM C.N. Under the leadership of Annadurai (Anna), the ‘common people’ government ran in the state and the way M.G. reached the pinnacle of politics through cinema. Ramachandran (MGR) had a government of the ‘most common people’, similarly today this present government led by Thalapathy Vijay is the government of the ‘most common people’ of Tamil Nadu. He clearly said that in this historic election of 2026, the people of the state have completely demolished all the old and conservative walls of religion and caste.

Responding to the Governor’s address in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, CM Vijay said, “I thank the crores of people of Tamil Nadu with folded hands. Our first duty is to serve the public. There may be ideological differences among us, but we all have to work together for the welfare of the people. I especially express my gratitude to the people of Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East.”
