Actress Deepika Kakkar, who became a household name with the serial ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, is currently battling stage 2 liver cancer. She is undergoing treatment and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim is standing by her during this difficult time. Similarly, the emotional post shared by Deepika on social media on the occasion of Shoaib’s birthday is attracting the attention of fans.

Deepika is currently undergoing immunotherapy and due to the treatment she has to bear physical pain and suffering. However, she is coping with the disease by staying positive. Deepika penned a touching message for Shoaib on his 39th birthday. “You are my biggest strength, my support, my life and my mental support. No matter what crisis comes your presence gives me the courage to face it,” she said. She added, “We have no precious gift to give you, but your name is in my every prayer. Happy birthday to you.” Many artists including fans showered their wishes on this post and Shoaib also gave a warm response.
Meanwhile, another crisis hit the couple’s family. Shoaib’s father suffered a second brain stroke and had to be rushed to the intensive care unit. His condition was critical for some time and it was reported that a part of his body was affected. However, after treatment, his condition has improved and he has been shifted from ICU to general ward. While Shoaib shared this information with fans, Deepika thanked everyone who prayed for her family.
