There was a clash between some groups of youth present in the crowd, which soon turned into a fight. According to eyewitnesses, some people also targeted pedestrians and an atmosphere of chaos was created on the streets.

2. To control the situation in Paris, the police had to take action in many areas. Police used tear gas to control the crowd in the Saint-Germain de Pres area. 148 people were arrested in the capital alone. According to officials, some groups vandalized vehicles, broke glass of cars and tried to enter shops.

3. Crimes against women raised the most concern during the festival. Police received more than 10 such complaints in which women were allegedly given injections with unknown substances. This incident is said to be similar to the cases that came to light during last year’s festival.

4. According to reports, a case of alleged rape of a girl came to light in Paris. It was reported that he was targeted after being injected in a private residence. Apart from this, a 15-year-old girl lodged a complaint of rape in Nogent-sur-Marne area. In Gagni suburb, a 48-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
