A major accident occurred in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Wednesday. Here a vehicle slipped and fell into the Dras river. According to officials, one person has died. Three people are missing there. These include two women. According to the police, this accident took place in Marpuchu area of Dras district. Teams have been deployed to search for the missing people. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Agha Syed Baqir. His body was found from Thanda Mor area of Chowkiyal.
According to officials, it happened in Dras district on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. The car slipped from the road and fell into the Dras river on Tuesday night. There were four people in the car. The body of one of them, Agha Syed Baqir, has been found. Teams have been deployed to search for the remaining people. Dras Police also shared the video of the relief and rescue operation.

Officials said Sajjad Hussain (26), Haseena Banu (25) and Sogra Banu (23) are not yet traceable. A massive search operation is being conducted in the entire area. The search operation is also facing problems due to the strong current in the river. Officials say that as time is passing, the hopes of finding them alive are decreasing.

Bridge collapses in Himachal, truck falls into river
Just a day ago, a heart-wrenching video had surfaced in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Here a truck fell into the Satluj river after a bailey bridge collapsed. Its video is also viral on social media. According to media reports, the incident took place on National Highway No. 5 near Urni Dhank. Here a truck was passing through the bridge built between Rekong and Tapri. The truck was loaded with sand. He had almost crossed the bridge. When it reached the other end the bridge suddenly broke. Along with the bridge, the truck also fell into the river.
