What did Dilip Ghosh say on Taratala accident?
On the incident of collapse of the under-construction warehouse shed in Taratala, West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh said that during the CPM rule, there were incidents of fire in many big markets of Bengal, in which many people lost their lives and there was loss of property worth thousands of crores of rupees. He said that during the rule of Trinamool Congress, incidents of collapse of bridges and flyovers had become common.
Dilip Ghosh said that this incident is also a big example. He raised the question as to how such a huge structure collapsed while it was still under construction. He said that if this construction was completed and people started living there, then in case of any accident a large number of people could have lost their lives.
He alleged that corruption and irregularities in this case should be investigated and the culprits should be punished. He said that the government has started action in this direction and no one will be spared. The minister also said that not only four people but many other people and political personalities may also be involved in such a big project, hence the entire matter will be investigated in depth.
