Sensational revelation in Ram Temple donation theft: 79 lakhs including 900 dollars recovered, Avinash Shukla looted the most money!

Ayodhya: Every day new revelations are being made in the case of theft of crores from Ram Lalla’s main donation box. Police and SIT have taken major action against the gang that broke into the offerings of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The joint team has made the biggest recovery so far. Out of the eight accused sent to jail, huge amount of cash and foreign currency was found from seven of them.

79 lakh and 900 US dollars recovered from 7 accused  

According to Ayodhya Police, intensive searches were conducted at the locations of the eight accused. During this period, a total of Rs 79 lakh 85 thousand in cash was recovered from seven accused. The most surprising thing was that 900 US dollars were also found from them. This foreign currency belonged to those NRIs and foreign devotees who had donated to Ram Lalla.

20 lakhs withdrawn from Avinash Shukla   

Avinash Shukla turned out to be the biggest accused in the entire investigation. When the police raided his premises, cash worth about Rs 20 lakh was found from him alone. Even the police officers were surprised to see the bundles of notes. Avinash had pocketed the highest amount.

Nothing was found from calculation in-charge Subhash, but his role is suspicious  

Ram Mandir Trust’s calculation in-charge Subhash Srivastava is also among the eight accused arrested. The surprising thing is that not a single rupee or dollar was recovered from him. But sources say his role in manipulating the donation count and saving the entire syndicate is suspicious. On this basis, he has been made a co-accused and sent to jail.

All accused sent to jail, investigation into bank accounts started   

Ayodhya Police has sent all the eight accused to jail after presenting them in the court. Now SIT is deeply investigating their bank accounts, properties and suspicious transactions of the last few months. Police say that the recovered amount will be presented in the court as main evidence.

The officials have made it clear that any culprit who hurts faith will not be spared. SIT is now finding out how long this game of theft was going on and who else is involved in it.
