UAE Petrol Price Update: Petrol may become cheaper from July, official announcement will be made on June 30

There may be a good news for the people living in UAE and especially the expatriates who drive. Petrol prices, which have been continuously increasing for the last four months, are now expected to fall. Due to falling oil prices in the international market, the general public may get relief in July.

The UAE Fuel Price Committee will officially announce the new prices on 30 June 2026, which will come into effect from 1 July 2026. Market experts say that there may be a slight decline in petrol prices or these prices may remain stable.

Why may prices go down?

A major decline has been seen in oil prices across the world. In the month of June, the price of Brent crude fell by more than $ 11 per barrel. Big financial institutions like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have also reduced their oil price estimates. Along with this, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has also reduced the price of Murban crude for July from $ 104.44 to $ 101.48 per barrel.

expert opinion

Robin Mills, CEO of Dubai’s Qamar Energy, says that there will be a reduction in prices but it will not be by much. He said that after the fall in prices in the international market, it takes time for processes like refinery and shipping to become normal, hence it may take a few months for the full benefits to reach the consumers.
