Morena: After killing his wife and two innocent children, a young man committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.

Morena. In Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, a young man killed his wife and two innocent children by killing them with an axe. After this the accused husband committed suicide by jumping in front of the train.

The whole matter happened on Friday night. The murder case came to light on Saturday morning. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, registered the case and started investigation.

The incident took place in Kishanpur village of Mata Basaiya police station area. According to the police, 35-year-old Balram Singh Kushwaha, son of Haricharan Kushwaha, attacked his 32-year-old wife Ravita Kushwaha with an ax while she was sleeping late on Friday night.

After this, he also attacked his two sons, 8 year old Aarav and 5 year old Debu. All three died on the spot in the attack. After this, he reached Shikarpur railway gate located at some distance from the village and committed suicide by jumping from the train.

Basaiya police station in-charge Vivek Tomar said that the incident took place in the courtyard of the house. The house is surrounded by high boundaries on all sides. On Saturday morning the neighbors noticed that the main gate of the house was locked from outside.

When they got suspicious, they peeped inside from over the boundary and found the dead bodies of the woman and the two children. After this the police was immediately informed.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Mata Basaiya police station, senior officers and FSL team reached the spot. Police inspected the incident site, collected evidence and started investigation.

Looking at the circumstances of the incident site, it is clear that the deceased Ravita had struggled hard to save herself and her children. His body was found about 20 feet away from the cot.

During the investigation, the police found the blood-stained ax used in the crime from inside the house. The heart-wrenching thing is that deceased Balram’s mother Ramkali was sleeping outside the house all night, but she was not even aware of the massacre going on inside.

Headquarters DSP Vijay Bhadauria said that preliminary investigation revealed that Balram was having a dispute with his wife. Because of which she was living in her maternal home in Kutwar village for some days.

Two days ago, Balram and others had brought him to Kishanpur village after the Panchayat. On Friday night there was another dispute between Balram and Ravita. After which, in anger, Balram attacked his wife and his children with an axe, killing them.

After this he himself ran away from home. When the doors of Balram’s house did not open in the morning, the neighbors saw that the bloody bodies of the mother and two children were lying in the courtyard of the house. On which the police was informed.

On the other hand, on Saturday morning it came to light that Balram also committed suicide in front of the train near Shikarpur gate. Police are still investigating the spot. At present the police is interrogating the family members and neighbors.

The investigation is being done keeping all aspects in mind. Police have sent all four bodies to Morena for postmortem. Further action will be taken after the report comes.
