Will war break out again in the Middle East? Iran enraged after American airstrike, said- ‘Washington will only have to repent’

All the global efforts to establish peace in West Asia (Middle East) and the recent ceasefire agreement have suffered a huge and fatal blow. While talks were going on between Washington and Tehran to end the war completely, American fighter jets carried out a massive airstrike on many important military bases of Iran and shocked the entire region. Iran is furious after this American military action. Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security Commission of the Iranian Parliament, on Saturday warned America in a very strict and direct tone that after this audacity, Washington will only have to ‘retreat and repent’. While making a scathing attack on US President Donald Trump, he clearly said that now this ‘blame game’ of America i.e. the game of attacking oneself and blaming others will not work at all. Let us know what is the real reason for this huge controversy that suddenly broke out amidst the peace agreement. Why did the controversy erupt? Know the reason for the US Army’s rapid air strikes. This entire controversy started when the fighter planes of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Friday fired missiles at the missile and drone storage locations inside Iran as well as their coastal radar sites. The White House and the US Defense Ministry fully justified this action and made it clear that this attack is a direct and strong response to Iran’s cowardly attack on a commercial ship in international waters. According to the official timeline released by the US military, on June 25, Iran attacked ‘M/V Ever Lovely’, a huge Singapore-flagged cargo ship passing through the strait near the coast of Oman, with a one-way suicide attack drone. The attack took place near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, which handles about one-fifth (20%) of the world’s total energy and crude oil trade. America has taken this major military action against Iran on the basis of this violation of international maritime security. Iran’s counterattack: ‘America backstabbed us in the middle of talks’ Enraged by the American bombing, former top commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and current MP Ibrahim Azizi wrote a long post on the social media platform ‘X’, criticizing America. Azizi said, ‘White collar America has once again proved what a difference there is between its words and actions. He has stabbed our country in the back by attacking in the middle of peace talks. Failed US President Donald Trump has shown the world that he does not follow any international law, principles of negotiation or ceasefire. Azizi said in a warning tone that this reckless violation of ceasefire will prove to be suicidal for America. Just a few hours after this sharp statement by the Iranian MP, a big and scary announcement was made from the IRGC headquarters. The Iranian military said it has begun targeting US military bases and embassies across the Middle East region with its missiles in retaliation for US attacks on the southern part of the country. ‘The answer to violence is only violence’ – America has also clearly refused to bow down amid blunt Iranian threats by US Vice President JD Vance. US Vice President JD Vance slammed Iran and warned in blunt words on ‘X’. Vance wrote, ‘Iran itself sat down at the table and signed the ceasefire agreement, and our military fully respected that agreement. If the Iranian administration had any objections or disagreements about the terms of the MOU or the way it was implemented, they could have communicated through diplomatic channels. But they chose the path of arms, and remember that violence against our country will always be responded to with double violence. Along with this, Vance made a last appeal to Iran that they should immediately stop the violence and come to the negotiating table to prevent further devastation. Peace talks at a critical juncture: Is the world heading towards World War III? This entire military confrontation took place at such a delicate and historical juncture when major diplomatic talks were going on behind the scenes to end the decades-old tension between the two countries. Only last week, a temporary ceasefire was formally announced between the two sides, under which both the countries were given 60 days to finalize a comprehensive framework. But after these latest air strikes and counterattacks, there has been huge turmoil in the stock markets and crude oil prices around the world. All hopes for peace have suffered a severe blow and the Middle East is once again on the verge of burning in the fire of a fierce regional war.
