digital desk- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big gift of development projects costing more than ₹475 crore to Sant Kabir Nagar district. CM Yogi, who visited the district on Wednesday, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of these projects. “UP is now the growth engine of the country’s economy” – CM Yogi

The Chief Minister said that only when people elect good governments and good public representatives, development and heritage get respect. Giving an example, he said that Dhanghata and Khajni areas, which were once considered the most backward, have today come very close to Lucknow by being connected to the Purvanchal Expressway. Taking aim at corrupt governments, the CM said that when dishonest people come to power, they rob people’s rights, compromise the safety of daughters and destroy farmers and traders. But today, under the double engine government led by PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh stands firmly as the ‘growth engine’ of the country’s economy.

Emergency is the dark day of India, from which mouth do Rahul-Akhilesh take the copy of the Constitution?

Citing the date of June 25, CM Yogi cornered Congress on the issue of emergency. He said that June 25, 1975 is the darkest day in the history of India, when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi strangulated democracy by imposing emergency on the country. Citizens’ rights were taken away and the media was banned. Making a direct attack on Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, the CM said that Mulayam Singh Yadav himself was jailed during the Emergency because he had opposed the dictatorship. In such a situation, with what mouth do Rahul and Akhilesh today call for democracy among the public and roam around carrying a copy of the Constitution?
