Big decision of Bihar government! Land registry process will be completely digital

Patna. There is big news for those registering land and property in Bihar. The state government is preparing to make the registry system completely online. Paperless registry system will be implemented in all the district registration offices of the state from July 15. After the new system, most of the work related to land registry will be completed through digital medium. This is expected to provide relief to people from frequent visits to offices.

Now offline documents will not be accepted

After the implementation of the new system, the old process of submitting paper documents for the registry will end. Applicants will have to upload the required documents and certificates on the online portal. After this, checking and verification of documents will also be done digitally. This will help speed up the process and keep records safe.

Link of registry deed will be available on mobile

The biggest convenience of the paperless system will be that after the registration is completed, people will not need to go to the office to get a copy of the deed. The link of the digital copy of the registered document will be sent by the department to the mobile number of the applicant. It can be downloaded and kept safe at the time of need.

Trial completed in all district offices

The Registry Department has completed the trial of paperless system in all the district registration offices of the state. After the trial is successful, now preparations are being made to implement it in entire Bihar. The government believes that the digital process will increase transparency in work and reduce unnecessary delays.

There will be less time and paper work

The new online system is expected to reduce the time taken in the registration process. While currently there is difficulty in handling documents and searching records, having digital records will make verification and retrieval of information easier in future. Apart from this, people will also get relief from the trouble of repeatedly submitting photo copies and other documents.

Big step towards e-governance

Bihar government is considering this change as an important initiative towards digital administration. With online applications, digital verification and electronic records, the land registry process can be easier and more streamlined than ever before. After July 15, the method of property registry in Bihar is going to change completely, due to which common people are expected to get fast and convenient service.
