Earthquake tremors felt from Afghanistan to Delhi-NCR, people came out of their homes

New Delhi. Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in Afghanistan. An earthquake of 5.7 magnitude occurred around 7:05 pm on Saturday evening, about 81 kilometers away from Kalafgan, Afghanistan. The epicenter of this earthquake was near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. At the same time, the impact of the earthquake in Afghanistan was felt far and wide. Its effect was seen in India also.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Delhi-NCR and other places in India. People came out of their homes after the strong earthquake. At the same time, people also looked very worried during this period.

Earthquake tremors were felt in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir including Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara and Jammu. At the same time, earthquake tremors were felt for a few seconds in Delhi-NCR and Gurugram also.

Earth shook from Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan
The epicenter of this earthquake, which occurred at 7:04 pm on Saturday evening, was much deeper than the earth’s surface. For this reason it was felt in many countries. Apart from Afghanistan, its impact was seen in Pakistan, India, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. Apart from Delhi, strong earthquake tremors were also felt in some other states of North India including Jammu and Kashmir.
