Murder planned while sitting in a cafe

According to the police, on the morning of June 18, Siya and Chetan met in a cafe in Pune. It was here that both of them planned to murder Ketan Agarwal and identified those places in Lohagarh Fort from where he could be pushed and fallen into a deep ditch.

CCTV footage of the cafe has surfaced, in which both are seen talking for a long time. Investigating agencies believe that the final strategy for the murder was decided during this time.

The crime was committed during the trek

After leaving the cafe, Sia took her fiance Ketan Aggarwal on Lohagarh Fort trek. On the other hand, Chetan followed them through a different route and reached the fort.

Police allege that after reaching a deserted place, both of them pushed Ketan from behind and made him fall into a deep ditch. After the incident, Siya told Ketan’s family that his foot slipped while trekking and he accidentally fell down.

There was an attempt to murder earlier also

Investigation has also revealed that this was not the first time that Siya tried to murder Ketan.

According to the police, both had gone to Lohagarh Fort on May 31 also. After this, on June 4, Sia again pressurized him to go there, but Ketan’s mother did not allow him.

On June 14, both of them again reached the fort. Meanwhile, Sia had allegedly tried to push Ketan off the cliff. However, Ketan survived by holding onto a bush. When he asked Siya why she did this, she made the excuse that there was a snake there and she was trying to save it.

CCTV and call records became the biggest evidence

The CCTV footage of the fort played an important role in the investigation of the entire case. Police noticed that a man wearing a hoodie, shorts and a headset was continuously following Siya and Ketan. Whenever Siya looked back, the man would immediately sit down so that he could not be recognised.

When the police took information from the meteorological department, it was found that the temperature that day was around 33 degrees Celsius Was. Wearing a hoodie in such heat seemed suspicious to the investigating officers.

After this, the call detail record (CDR) was examined, which revealed that in the last six to seven months there were calls between Siya and Chetan. 2,004 phone calls Had happened. both of them almost 238 hours The conversation lasted for 2 to 3 hours and many of the calls lasted for two to three hours.

After matching the social media profiles and CCTV footage, the police detained Chetan. During interrogation, the information received from both was found to match digital and technical evidence.

The two got engaged in February 2026 and a grand wedding was scheduled in November at a palace in Udaipur. Preparations for the wedding had also started.

Police say that Siya did not want to get married and wanted to maintain her relationship with Chetan. Both of them felt that Ketan was the biggest obstacle in their relationship. Therefore, a conspiracy was hatched to eliminate her even before the marriage.

Bali trip was also canceled

Another shocking revelation has come to light in the investigation. According to the police, on June 6, when Ketan and Sia were going to Mumbai airport for the Bali pre-wedding photoshoot, Sia secretly took out Ketan’s passport from the car at a food mall on the way and hid it in the women’s washroom.

The entire Bali trip had to be canceled due to non-availability of passport.

Police is investigating further
