On the occasion of the tenth convocation ceremony to be held on June 29, 2026 at Siddharth University, Kapilvastu, Siddharthnagar, the Chancellor of the University and Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel will inaugurate the digital reading machine and Kilkari Child Care Center installed in the newly established Central Digital Library in the University for the convenience of disabled students.
In this regard, library in-charge Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Srivastava said that the central library of the university has been developed in a completely digital format. In this, keyboard software and modern scanning machine have been arranged to facilitate the studies of disabled students.
Through this machine, any book can be scanned and translated into more than 100 languages. The translated material can also be heard through voice facility, which will prove to be very useful especially for visually impaired and disabled students.
In order to prepare for the tenth convocation ceremony, a complete and systematic rehearsal of the program was also conducted in the university today. The rehearsal was especially important this year due to the change in venue. During the rehearsal, stage operation, arrival of guests, distribution of medals and titles, cultural programs and all the arrangements were systematically practiced, so that successful and dignified organization of the ceremony could be ensured.
