CM Dhami said – PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program has become the biggest means of positive change in the society.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the 135th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in Roorkee on Sunday. During this, a large number of BJP workers and local public representatives were also present along with the Chief Minister. While addressing the public meeting after listening to the program, CM Dhami praised this campaign of PM Modi. He said that today ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is no longer just a radio programme, but it has become a very effective medium to strengthen public participation and bring positive change in the society.

Actually, Chief Minister Dhami, who reached Roorkee on Sunday, participated in this special program. In his 135th address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had mentioned the inspirational work going on with the cooperation of people in different parts of the country. The PM shared his views with the countrymen on many important issues like environmental protection, saving the country’s cultural heritage, new innovations, youth participation and promoting local products. Taking forward this message of PM Modi, CM Dhami said that the words of the Prime Minister inspire every citizen to contribute in nation building.

The dream of developed India will come true only with ‘everyone’s effort’

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said after the program that this address of the Prime Minister further strengthens the spirit of ‘everyone’s effort’. He believes that unless every section of the society moves forward together, the resolve of ‘Developed India’ cannot be fulfilled. The CM stressed that the Uttarakhand government is also continuously working on the path shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under his guidance. Many schemes are being implemented in the state regarding good governance, public welfare, environmental protection, women and youth empowerment.

Uttarakhand government’s focus on local products and cultural heritage

It is being told that these days the Uttarakhand government is running a special campaign to give global recognition to the local products of the state. The Chief Minister also reiterated in Roorkee that along with preserving the cultural heritage of the state, promoting local products under Vocal for Local is among the priorities of his government. The way the Prime Minister has presented the roadmap for self-reliance in front of the country, Uttarakhand is moving forward rapidly on the same path.

Many big faces from political circles were seen along with Chief Minister Dhami in this program in Roorkee. Rajya Sabha MP Kalpana Saini, Transport Minister Pradeep Batra, District Panchayat President Kiran Chaudhary and BJP District President Madhu Singh were present on the stage. Apart from these, Roorkee Municipal Corporation Mayor Anita Aggarwal, Minister of State Deshraj Karnawal, Shyamveer Saini, Aadesh Saini and OBC Morcha State President Rakesh Giri and top officials of the government and administration were also present. From the administrative staff, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Navneet Singh Bhullar were also seen taking command of the security arrangements and the program. The enthusiasm of local workers who arrived in hundreds made this program very special.
