American state of Michigan has been hit with a harrowing news.
On the final day of the Electric Forest music festival, a baby’s body was found inside a toilet.
The festival was being held in West Michigan and was supposed to end on June 28 after starting on June 25.
As per the Michigan State Police, the body of a newborn was discovered inside a porta-potty.
Forest officials shared a statement writing “Forest Family, it causes us so much pain to have to share this difficult news with you.”
“Michigan State Police continues to investigate this tragic event if you can assist in any way. HQ is heartbroken and knows that our Forest Family is as well.”
The body of the baby, who was less than four weeks old, was discovered by restroom vending company employee.
According to the officials, the employee found the baby while he was doing routine maintenance on Sunday morning.
The festival draws thousands of fans every year and this was their 14th year for EDM.
