1. New EV policy in Delhi from July 1

The new EV policy is going to be implemented in the country’s national capital Delhi. The new EV policy in Delhi will come into effect from July 1. CM Rekha Gupta has announced the implementation of the new EV policy in Delhi from July 1. Under the new EV policy, only electric autos will be registered in Delhi from January 1, 2027, and e-two wheelers will be registered from April 1, 2028.

2. In Delhi from today SIR

The SIR process is starting in Delhi from today (30th June). The Election Commission held a press conference on June 29 and shared complete details of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Delhi’s voter list. Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ashok Kumar said that 13,000 BLOs will go door-to-door across the capital to verify 1.45 crore voters. The final voter list will be published on October 7.

3. CM Rekha Gupta cleaned Yamuna Ghat

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in the ‘Clean Delhi with CM Cleanliness Campaign’ organized at Yamuna Ghat in Chilla village on Sunday. During this time, he along with a large number of youth, volunteers, social organizations and local citizens performed Shramdaan. While participating in the cleaning campaign at the ghat, the Chief Minister himself gave the message of public participation to the people for clean Yamuna. 4. More than 1500 unauthorized colonies will get ownership rights

Important news has come to light for lakhs of families living in more than 1500 unauthorized colonies of Delhi. The last date of application can be announced soon under the ongoing Prime Minister-UDAY scheme to give ownership rights to the people living in these colonies. In such a situation, those who have not yet applied for ownership of their property are being advised to apply soon. Under the scheme, the process of providing documents related to property rights to the eligible people is being done.
