New Delhi, 30 June 2026: Amidst the exciting matches of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, the latest players’ rankings have been announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Indian women’s cricket team may have been out of the race for the semi-finals of the World Cup, but the dominance of Indian players in the individual rankings still remains the same. India’s star spinner Shri Charani is becoming the world number-1 T20 bowler. On the other hand, in the batting rankings, Smriti Mandhana, Shefali Verma and captain Harmanpreet Kaur have been successful in maintaining their positions in the top-10.

  • Shri Charani on top in bowling, England’s Lauren Bell makes big jump

India’s magic spin bowler Sri Charani has further strengthened his position as the world number-1 T20 bowler, which he achieved only last week, due to his brilliant performance. In the ongoing T20 World Cup tournament, Shri Charni performed brilliantly and took a total of 14 wickets. India’s experienced all-rounder Deepti Sharma is also included in the list of top-10 bowlers. In this ranking, England’s fast bowler Lauren Belle has made tremendous progress and with the gain of three places, she has now moved straight from seventh position to fourth position.

Australia’s Georgia Wall has become the world number-1 batsman in the women’s T20 batting rankings, while England’s Charlie Dean is in second place. From India, star opener Smriti Mandhana is at fifth position and Shefali Verma is at sixth position. While Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur remains unchanged at 10th position. However, Indian middle order batsmen Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues have suffered huge losses in the batting rankings due to their recent form.

  • All-rounder and team ranking position

Deepti Sharma is the only Indian player included in the top-10 list of T20 all-rounders, who is currently at fifth position. Apart from this, Shefali Verma has jumped 4 places to 22nd position in the all-rounder rankings. Talking about women’s T20 team ranking, Australia remains at first place, England at second place and Indian team at third place. On the other hand, the picture of the semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is now completely clear. In the first semi-final match of the tournament, defending champion Australia will face West Indies, while in the second semi-final match, the teams of South Africa and England will face each other.
