Contrary to media reports of interruption in power supply and tripping day and night, there has been significant improvement in the power supply system. Work has been done on a large scale to provide uninterrupted electricity from cities to villages. In fact, the aim of the state government is to provide 24×7 quality electricity to every city, every village, every road and every street. According to Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma, who has been the target of opposition and electricity consumers, Uttar Pradesh also created a new record in the field of electricity supply during the summer season of the current year. Maximum power supply in the state reached 32,673 MW, the highest ever level.

AK Sharma issued a statement saying congratulations to the electricity consumers. Electricity rates were not increased in Uttar Pradesh for the seventh consecutive year. Electricity rates have not been increased even by a single penny for seven years. The rates for all consumers in 2026-27 will remain the same as they were seven years ago. This is when the power supply is also at its maximum. This summer, a new record of the country’s maximum supply of 32673 MW was created. Despite natural obstacles, efforts are being made to provide 24×7 electricity in every city, every village, every road, every street.
