Lucknow, 3 July. Om Prakash Rajbhar, minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and national president of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa), has launched a scathing attack on the SP and its national president Akhilesh Yadav over the alleged stage dispute that took place during a Samajwadi Party program in Mawana, Meerut. He alleged that Samajwadi Party’s slogan of ‘PDA’ is only political posturing, while the leaders of Dalit and backward communities do not get respect within the party.
Rajbhar claimed that the Meerut incident is an example of the alleged casteist working style of the Samajwadi Party and the Dalit and extremely backward society of the state is watching such incidents seriously. Posting on the social media platform He alleged that in the SP program organized in Mawana, a former minister from Dalit community and the district president of Gurjar community were present on the stage, but later a sector president allegedly behaved rudely with them and asked them to leave the stage.
Rajbhar claimed in his post that the concerned sector president allegedly said that it was a “Yadav party event” and how did other people sit on the stage. He alleged that during this incident other leaders present on the stage also did not show courage to protest. The SubhaSP chief also alleged that Samajwadi Party’s PDA slogan does not match the reality and the respect of Dalit and extremely backward class leaders is not safe in the party. He said that the Dalit and extremely backward society of the state is remembering such alleged insult.
Rajbhar once again claimed in his statement that internal dissatisfaction is increasing in the Samajwadi Party. He said that after Moradabad, divisions in the party have started in Meerut too and its impact will be more clearly visible in the coming times. However, till the time of writing the news, no official response has come from the Samajwadi Party or its National President Akhilesh Yadav on this entire matter.
