Who will be the new in-charge of UP BJP? Names of 5 veterans in discussion

Political activities have intensified regarding the new state in-charge in Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party. No name has been officially announced by the party yet, but the names of five big leaders are most discussed in the organization and political circles. These included National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, former state in-charge and National General Secretary Sunil Bansal, National Vice President Baijayant Panda, National Organization General Secretary B.L. Santosh and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

 

BJP can give big responsibility to these leaders considering their organizational experience and electoral track record. It is believed that the responsibility of the party’s most important state like Uttar Pradesh will be handed over to an experienced strategist. The names of Sunil Bansal and BL Santosh are also in discussion. The role of in-charge is very important in the politics of UP. These officials decide the conditions and direction from ticket distribution to publicity.

Vinod Tawde is considered an experienced organizer of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Tawde, who reached the national level from Maharashtra politics, has played a role in strengthening the organization and preparing election strategies in many states. A calm but effective organizational style is considered his hallmark. Sunil Bansal’s name is counted among the most successful organizers of Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party. He is considered the main architect of the major electoral successes of the Bharatiya Janata Party due to his strategy of booth management and organization expansion in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, 2017 and 2022 assembly elections. He has a deep hold on the social and political equations of Uttar Pradesh.

Baijayant Panda is the National Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party and has been a big face of Odisha politics. The party has been giving him important responsibilities for strategic thinking, media management and election campaigns. He has played an active role in election management in many states.

B.L Santosh is counted among the most influential leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party organization. As National Organization General Secretary, he plays a central role in organization expansion, appointments and election strategy. He is also considered the ‘back room strategist’ of the party and his stature in the organization is very high.

 

Apart from being a senior minister of the Central Government, Dharmendra Pradhan is also one of the skilled election managers of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has held election responsibilities in many states including Odisha, Uttar Pradesh. His ability to create better coordination between the organization and the government is given special importance in the party.

Nitin Naveen is coming on UP tour for the first time

Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president Nitin Naveen will be visiting Uttar Pradesh for the first time on July 4 and 5. This first official visit of his is being considered very important from the organizational point of view. During this, he will hold separate rounds of meetings with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both the Deputy Chief Ministers, State Bharatiya Janata Party President, organization officials and other senior leaders.

 

According to sources, issues like the working style of the organization, preparations for the upcoming elections, membership campaign, political strategy and government-organization coordination will be discussed in detail in the meetings. The official agenda may not have been revealed in the name of the state in-charge, but amidst the ongoing discussions, all eyes are fixed on this tour.

Eyes fixed on Delhi’s decision

Uttar Pradesh is the most important state for the Bharatiya Janata Party with a view to the 2027 Assembly elections and 2029 Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, the party does not want to rush into the appointment of the state in-charge. It is believed that the final decision will be taken only after a comprehensive organizational review and brainstorming by the top leadership. At present, speculation is high regarding the five names, but the final seal will be given only by the central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In the coming days, this decision can decide the direction of the upcoming political strategy of Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party.
