Major administrative reshuffle in Delhi Finance Department, transfer of 52 officers, promotion of 19
Tezzbuzz Desk – Making a major administrative change in the Finance and Accounts Department, Delhi Government has transferred 52 officers with immediate effect. The transfer of these officers, who have been working at the same place for a long time, is being considered an important step towards increasing transparency and efficiency in the administrative system.
Transfer of 52 officers
According to the government order, the officers who have been transferred include 23 Deputy Controller of Accounts and 29 Senior Accounts Officers. All these officers were working at the same place for 5 years or more.
Promotion to 19 officers
With this, the government has promoted 19 senior accounts officers and made them Deputy Controller of Accounts. Due to this, the scope of efficiency and responsibility in the department has been further increased.
Emphasis on transparency and good governance
This decision has been taken under the instructions of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The government says the move is aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability and good governance in administration.
The Chief Minister clarified that the aim of the Delhi Government is to create such an administrative system which meets high standards. He said that negligence or corruption will not be tolerated at any level.
Immediate joining instructions
The government has issued instructions to all transferred and promoted officers to immediately take charge in their new offices. It is believed that this step will speed up financial management and implementation of government schemes and the public will be able to get more transparent services.
