Mukesh Ambani Arrives At Temple With Anant Ambani And Radhika Merchant In Bulletproof Mercedes S680 Guard [Video]

The Ambani family, as we all know, is the richest family in Asia, and the collection of luxury cars that they own is unmatched in the country. Of their most expensive and exclusive cars, the Mercedes Benz S680 Guard is the preferred car of the head of the family, Mukesh Ambani. Recently, Mukesh Ambani, along with his youngest son, Anant Ambani, and his wife, Radhika Merchant, were seen arriving at a temple in the bulletproof Mercedes Benz S680 Guard sedan with Z+ security.

The video showing the Ambani family arriving at a temple in Mumbai has been shared on YouTube by CS12 Vlogs on their channel. It starts off with the gold-colored Mercedes Benz S680 Guard arriving at the temple gate. It can be noted that Radhika Merchant was sitting in the front passenger seat. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani and Anant Ambani were sitting in the rear, following which they came out of the car and entered the temple with their security.

This particular Mercedes Benz S680 seen in the video is one of the first Mercedes S680 Guards that was acquired by the Ambani family. It is finished in the classy shade of gold, and it has the VIP registration number “MH 01 EM 999”. In total, the Ambani family owns four S680 Guard bulletproof sedans. One of them is finished in black, one in white, and one in silver.

All of these cars are used by different family members, and each of them costs Rs 10 crore. The black and silver cars have VIP registration numbers of “333”, and the gold and white S680 Guards have VIP registration numbers of “999”. Apart from these, the family has also owned all previous generations of the S Guard sedan, including the W222 and W221, along with others.

The latest W223 Mercedes Benz S680 Guard comes with a VPAM VR10 certification. This is currently the pinnacle of ballistic certification for civilian vehicles. This certification ensures that the vehicle is not only bulletproof but also resistant to explosive charges.

It also comes equipped with bullet- and blast-proof glass featuring multi-layer construction and a polycarbonate layer for splinter protection. The glass on this sedan measures, on average, from 3.5 to 4 inches.

Powering the Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard is a massive 6.0-litre V12 engine. This motor generates 612 bhp and a staggering 830 Nm of torque. This 4.2-ton behemoth sedan also gets all-wheel drive. The car also has specialized tires, which have been designed to continue functioning for up to 30 kilometers after a potential flat.

Apart from the Mercedes Benz S680 Guards, one of the most unique bulletproof vehicles owned by Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, is India’s only bulletproof Rolls Royce Cullinan. The family owns a fleet of over 10 Cullinans, and this particular bulletproof Cullinan is one of the early ones that was bought by the family.

Currently, the exact bulletproof specifications, or which level of armour this SUV has been given, have not been revealed due to security reasons. Most likely, the vehicle has been given bulletproof windows and windshields, and the doors have been given armour layers as well. Now, whether it is bomb-proof or not is unknown. Powering the Rolls Royce Cullinan luxury SUV is a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that generates 563 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque.

As for the latest addition to the Ambani family garage, the family bought two Rs 4 crore each Mercedes Maybach SL680 convertible supercars. Recently, one of the two SL680 Maybachs was spotted driving on public roads without any security convoy or any VIP registration plate. What makes this purchase unique is that only three Mercedes Maybach SL680s were allocated for the entire country, and the Ambani family has bought two of them.

This convertible supercar, which comes plastered with Maybach logos, is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. It is capable of producing 585 bhp and 800 Nm. It comes paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, and the 100 kmph sprint takes just 4.1 seconds.
