While talking to news channel Aaj Tak, Ravi Kumar, who works as a mason, said that when he reached Ruby’s house in Renuka Dham Colony to make the bathroom floor, he found that the woman herself was laying debris. According to Ravi, when he asked about bringing laborers to get the work done, Ruby said that she would do the work of dumping the debris herself. Ravi told that Ruby had given him Rs 500 to get the material for making the bathroom floor. The toilet seat in the bathroom was about one and a half feet high. The new floor was built to its height. Ravi had brought a laborer and got him to prepare the mixture of cement and sand, but before that all the work was done by Ruby. According to Ravi, he had no idea that Surendra’s body was hidden under the floor.

According to Agra Police, during interrogation, Ruby told that she had prepared kheer and given it to her husband Surendra Kumar Sharma. Many sleeping pills were mixed in this kheer. When Surendra fell asleep, he killed his husband. Then he sent his two daughters and mother-in-law to his brother-in-law’s house. Then Surendra’s body was taken to the bathroom. He dug a hole there and buried it and then made a floor over it. When Surendra went missing and there was no trace of him, elder brother Anil Sharma became suspicious of Ruby.
