Bihar Governor Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain, who came to the religious city of Kashi (Varanasi) in Uttar Pradesh, along with his wife Sabiha Hasnain worshiped Mother Ganga as per rituals. Attended the daily Aarti of world famous Mother Ganga organized by Ganga Seva Nidhi at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Before the Aarti of Mother Ganga, Ramjanam Yogi blew the conch shell for 7 minutes 58 seconds. Seeing this, Governor Syed Ata Hasnain looked surprised. He greeted Ram Janam Yogi by garlanding him and also praised his conch sound. After watching the Ganga Aarti, the Governor wrote in the visitor book of Ganga Seva Nidhi that ‘it was a wonderful experience’ of this world famous Ganga Aarti. Ganga Seva Nidhi President Sushant Mishra, Treasurer Ashish Tiwari, Secretary Surjit Singh, Secretary Hanuman Yadav welcomed the Governor by giving him body clothes, prasad and mementoes. Sushant Mishra told that the Governor had come to Dashashwamedh Ghat even before the Aarti of Mother Ganga. He remained present at the ghat for more than an hour. He remained curious to understand and realize this spiritual heritage of Kashi. Before this, Governor Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain along with his wife came to Varanasi by Vande Bharat Express. Amidst tight security, they came to the ghat to watch Ganga Aarti.
