The first match of the series was canceled due to rain, while in the second match, England won by four wickets and took the lead. Now both the teams will face each other in the third T20 at Trent Bridge on Tuesday, July 7, where the Indian team can make changes in its playing eleven.
One over of Ravi Bishnoi became the major reason for the defeat.
In the second T20, the Indian team had decided to go with three spinners. Ravi Bishnoi also got a place in the playing eleven along with Axar Patel and Varun Chakraborty, but his performance did not live up to expectations.
Bishnoi, who came in the 17th over in the decisive phase of the match, bowled two consecutive back-foot no-balls. After this, England’s batsmen took full advantage of the free hit and hit two sixes. A total of 29 runs were scored in this over, which completely changed the course of the match.
Ravi Bishnoi spent 60 runs in his four over spell and did not get any wicket.
Will Prince Yadav get a chance in the third T20?
Looking at the conditions at Trent Bridge, it is believed that the Indian team may go with an additional fast bowler. In such a situation, there is a possibility of Prince Yadav getting a chance in place of Ravi Bishnoi.
Prince Yadav impressed on his T20 International debut against Ireland, taking three wickets. However, after that he was kept out of the final eleven. Now the chances of his comeback in the third T20 seem to be increasing.
India needs a score of 200+
In the first two matches of the series, India scored 189 and 190 runs. The first match could not be completed due to rain, whereas in the second match, England successfully achieved the target of 190 runs.
In such a situation, if India bats first in the third T20, then it is considered important to score 200 or more to strengthen the chances of victory.
Better performance expected from Vaibhav Suryavanshi
young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi Got a chance to make his international debut in this series, but he could not play a big innings in the first match. Now better performance will be expected from him in the third match.
