Sanju Samson out, Mayank Yadav returns; Team India announced for Zimbabwe tour

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian team for the three-match T20 series against Zimbabwe starting from July 23. The selectors have made many major changes in the team this time. The most surprising decision was to keep wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson out of the team. Apart from this, Akshar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh and Prasidh Krishna have also not got a place in the team for this tour.

Fast bowler Mayank Yadav has returned to Team India after a long time. At the same time, Yash Thakur, who performed brilliantly for India A, has been included in the Indian team for the first time. Apart from this, fast bowler Ashok Sharma has also got a place in the national team for the first time. The selectors have taken a big step towards preparing the team of the future by giving opportunities to young players.
